About us

Wibena Impact, is a non-political, non-profit and women-youth led organization founded in 2018. The main focus is on societal empowerment and digital transformation promoting social progress and better standards of life for sustainable livelihood. This is done through socio- economic growth by provision of basic quality education for sustainable development, capacity building and empowerment programs, research and development for the most vulnerable groups.

The organization works on six main key focus areas; basic quality education for sustainable development; Research development; women and youth empowerment; leadership development Skills; WASH Program; environment and climate change.

Wibena Impact’s Mission

To empower the most vulnerable children, women and youth by enriching their lives through quality education, better environment, research and development, evaluation, and information sharing that enhances self-development to continually breed creativity and innovation.

We aspire to empower these most vulnerable children, youth and women to grow ahead in life by giving them applicable education, literacy skills, innovative ideas and livelihood programs that are market driven.

Wibena Impact's Vision

To have a knowledgeable, healthy and economically empowered society through enabling quality education and better standards of life for sustainable livelihood to the most vulnerable groups in Africa.

“Enabling” means increasing capabilities for improving well-being and entitlements; ability to keep pace with changing times and problem solving skills.

“Education” means early childhood education, focusing on elementary education, special needs education and integrated literacy programs.

“Most Vulnerable Group” means population living below poverty line, girls and women in rural areas and urban slums, child laborers, minorities, and children with special needs. Gender equality and not gender equity is seen as a measure of overcoming disadvantaged status for girls and women.
